The Cuyahoga Tapestry System of Care is a partnership of parent leaders, local agencies, neighborhood centers, and public partners that take a family-centered team approach to servicing children with multiple needs.
The systems of care are for the family who has a child at risk or already involved with multiple child-serving systems or services, like Juvenile Court, the Department of Job & Family Services, alcohol and drug counseling, and mental health. Rather than looking at what is potentially “wrong” with the family, Friendly Inn’s Tapestry team looks at the family’s strengths, needs, culture, and takes action.
Central Family-to-Family Collaborative meets every 4th Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. The program focuses on the problem and solutions that affect families and the community. A network of neighborhood support and community resources, agencies, and institutions that will strengthen and nurture families in the Central area. Family Resources/Parent Advocate, Foster/Adoptive Home & Recruitment, and Wraparound Services.
Tapestry is a free service. The qualifications for service are as follows:
Must be a resident of the Central social planning area.
Must be enrolled in the Tapestry Program.
Must attend the Parent and Youth Advocate meetings: the 3rd Thursday of each month 6:00-8:00 p.m.
